KP050 SERIES

KP050 Series is a new line of professional-grade loudspeakers designed by JBL for entertainment venues. Three models featuring premium dynamic range, high sound pressure level and high power capacity are available: KP051 (10” Full-Range Loudspeaker System), KP052 (12” Full-Range Loudspeaker System), and KP055 (15” Full-Range Loudspeaker System).

KP050 Series pairs a custom-designed LF driver with the patent JBL 2408H-1 annular polymer diaphragm neodymium compression HF driver and incorporates a high-slope passive networking to create a system with full and clear midrange vocal. Benefitted from such design, KP050 Series is capable of handling higher power, reproducing in the lowest distortion, and keeping efficient electro-acoustic conversion even under extreme use. Balanced coverage is guaranteed in room of any size or scale by its 80° x 70° / 70° × 60° horn.

KP050 Series outshines its league for its one-of-a-kind Starry Brown appearance and its sleek and simple design can seamless mix into any decoration styles. The trapezoid enclosure is made from 15mm plywood and finished in wear-resistant paint. To reduce cabinet resonance to the lowest, the wooden structure locates venting ports to the rear and optimizes the cabinet design through computer stimulation. 16-gauge steel grille with acoustic back-screen protects internal drivers and circuits from foreign objects and drink splash. A pair of Neutrik® Speakon® NL4MP connectors are installed for loop-thru of multiple speakers. Multiple M10 threaded suspension points and a 35mm socket are available for either flying installation or pole mounting.

A showcase of JBL’s dedication to technology advancement, the rotatable JBL ENTERTAINMENT logo constantly illuminates during performances. Thanks to the PSL (Passive Sound Lighting) Technology, the legendary JBL sound is now visible.
